Rent
Rent is due on the first of each month and can be paid in several ways:

Payments: A late fee of 5% will be levied if rent is not received in our office by the 5th of the month.

Policies
Pet Policy
Pets are allowed in certain homes. There is a pet fee and a pet addendum that must be signed. The tenant is ultimately responsible for all issues relating to their pet(s). All new pets must be approved by House In Order.

Smoking Policy
Smoking is not permitted in any rental unit.


Guests Policy
Guests may visit but no one may move in. If a guest stays for more than 2 weeks, they need to be listed on the lease and approved through House In Order.

Return Check Policy
A $25.00 charge is levied against any returned check.

Security Policy
All rentals will require a security deposit that is refundable if the terms of the lease are satisfied. This security deposit will be held in an escrow account by the agent and refunded to the tenant within 30 days from the termination of the lease. Under no circumstances should this deposit be used towards payment of the last month's rent. To insure security deposit refund, please follow the guidelines provided by House in Order. In short, the house or unit must be returned in the same or better condition than when it was leased, except for normal wear and tear.

We do not discriminate based on race, color, national origin, religion, sex, familial status, or handicapping conditions.

Service Request
The best way to request a repair is through email. Tell us completely what is wrong and send pictures, model number, and brand if appropriate. You may also call our office. If we are not available leave your name, property address, telephone number and where you can be reached. Describe the problem as detailed as possible. Correct information will assist us in getting back to you quickly.


  • If you smell gas, call the Gas Company emergency number! 
  • If you have a water leak, shut off the main valve. If the leak is small put something under it to collect the water.
  • If the water heater is leaking shut off the water and remove belongings near the heater. Put down towels or blankets to absorb the water.
  • Common sense measure can prevent damage. Do not leave the property without confirming that someone is taking care of the problem. We must have your permission to enter the property in your absence.
  • If you do not keep an appointment for maintenance or repair work, the worker's time will be charged to you.
  • You will be charged for any service calls or repair work that you are responsible for maintaining.
  • You will not be reimbursed for any unauthorized repairs. You may not authorize maintenance at the expense of the owner or his agent.
